Insurance
Somar Landscape and/or its subcontractors are fully insured as required by the State of Massachusetts.
Auto-Renewal
All maintenance services described in this agreement will be auto-renewed annually for your convenience. Either party may cancel this agreement, in whole or in part, if either fails to comply with its terms. Cancellations must be made in writing at least one week before the next scheduled service date for weekly services (such as mowing) or one month in advance for seasonal services (such as cleanups). Auto-renewal rates may be subject to a modest annual adjustment of approximately 2–5% or ($3-$5 minimum) to reflect changes in fuel, labor, and other operational costs.
Warranties
Your satisfaction is our top priority. Please contact us promptly via email at contact@somarlandscape.com or through our client portal if you have any concerns so they can be properly addressed.
There is no warranty on seeds, sod, plants, shrubs, grass, flowers, or other living materials supplied. The homeowner is responsible for watering and maintaining these materials unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Snow Plowing
Minor surface scratches or incidental damages may occur during snow removal. Please ensure that your driveway is free of vehicles on snow days. If vehicles are present, plowing will be completed as efficiently as possible. Shoveling is not included unless specifically stated in your agreement.
Mowing Schedule
If you are a weekly mowing client and request to switch to bi-weekly service, a 20% increase will be applied to your service rate. These changes must be initiated by the client and will be considered temporary unless otherwise specified.
The regular mowing season varies based on weather conditions, typically beginning in the first or second week of April and ending in the first or second week of October.
Extra Services
Any extra services requested directly from our employees outside the scope of this agreement will incur additional charges.
Fall Season
If the customer is enrolled in both regular mowing and Fall Cleanup, mowing services will continue after the regular mowing season ends. This service helps maintain the property and manage leaf accumulation during the transition to Fall Cleanup.
In cases of heavy leaf buildup, additional time and fuel may be required. Therefore, an extra fee may apply for extended mowing services.
Fall Cleanup is typically completed in two separate visits when the initial cleanup is completed before November 15. In these cases, a second visit is included at no additional charge; however, a fuel surcharge in the amount equivalent to one regular mowing will be applied to the account to cover operational expenses. The second visit is not guaranteed and may be delayed or canceled due to inclement weather, including snow, which may prevent access to the property.
Customers enrolled in both regular mowing and Fall Cleanup must notify Somar Landscape by email before the end of September if they wish to opt out of post-season mowing.
Media Use
By signing or emailing your acceptance of this agreement, you acknowledge and grant permission for Somar Landscape to use photos of your property for marketing and promotional purposes.
